About this vintage design furniture
An astonishing pair of armchairs by Czech designer and architect Borek Sipek.
Borek Sipek is considered the father of the neo-Baroque style. He floods the world with his creations of surprising curves and eccentric designs. From furniture to tableware to lighting fixtures, Borek Sipek, who died in 2016, created a range of products that would make him the renowned designer he is today.
These armchairs feature a black leather seat and backrest supported by an unusual base.
Metal tubes and a rigid plastic plate inside create the curves.
Full of dynamism, the base mingles with the armrests and is formed of leather strips woven on one side and then the other.
Their style allows them to blend easily into both contemporary and classic interiors.
High-quality craftsmanship.
Seat height 47cm.
