About this vintage design furniture

Huge antique Spanish Fajalauza blue and white glazed terracotta ceramic bowl from the early 20th century made and hand painted. Baked lacquered in white, with handmade bird painting and typical Andalusian blue shapes. Fajalauza is a style that has its origins in the 16th century in the Albaicín neighborhood of Granada, known for its mix of Christian and Andalusian cultures, as can be admired in the Alhambra Palace that overlooks the Albaicín. Unique piece, since it is completely handmade and added to the Mediterranean air, it gives it an indisputable charm as well as captivating. Their hand-painted designs are usually flowers, birds and plants, mainly the fruit of the pomegranate, which is the symbol of the city of Granada. As you can see in the pictures, the huge Lebrillo bowl is in very good condition, always stored and never used. Subtle micro crackling in its glaze that makes it even more beautiful. Measures: Height 15.5 cm. Diameter 50 cm. As you can see in the last image, we also have in our stock another one matching the pomegranate flower and lacquered in white and green. Reference : 304985
