About this vintage design furniture

Bauhaus S43 chair designed by Mart Stam, manufactured by Robert Slezak, Czechoslovakia, 1930s - produced under license from Thonet Mundus. Minimalist, functional, classic design. Made of: metal structure, hot-formed oak-beech plywood elements. The chair has a signature from 1945 proving that the furniture was taken over by the post-war authorities, and the second signature, two burnt swords underneath - the chair was used in the army. The chair is very - very comfortable - the structure works well, the backrest is nicely profiled... Condition: good, has local patina, abrasions. It has been refreshed and preserved in its original form. Dimensions: - height 80 cm - seat height 46 cm - width 52 cm - main 51 cm - weight 5.6 kg Reference : 296392
