About this vintage design furniture
French Art Deco ceramic sculpture depicting a reclining German Shepherd, this is marked on the bottom by the ceramics factory Sarreguemines France model number 5546. German Shepherds were a popular subject of French Art Deco sculptures. TH Cartier, CH Lemanceau, L Carvin, Savioli… it seems that all the French Art Deco sculptors of the time sculpted these dogs at some point.
In a neat condition.
