About this vintage design furniture
A very rare sideboard, designed by Belgian designer Alfred Hendrickx for Belform. Circa 1950. This sideboard features six sliding doors with brass inlayed door handles. On the right side six drawers. Four adjustable shelves in sycamore wood. Raised on six brass hairpin legs. Structure made of Bubinga wood. Alfred Hendrickx is one of the most important and influential Belgian furniture designers in the mid 20th century.

Alfred HENDRICKX
Alfred Hendrickx was a Belgian designer and cabinetmaker who was born in Antwerp in 1910 and died in 1983. He is best known for his elegant modern furniture, which enjoyed great success in the 1950s and 1960s.
