Alfred HENDRICKX

Hendrickx began his career working for De Coene Frères, where he designed modern, functional furniture. He later worked for the Belform company, where he created a highly successful collection of exotic wood furniture.

In the 1950s and 1960s, Hendrickx worked with the Belgian company Bovenkamp, for whom he created numerous pieces of furniture in teak and mahogany. His designs were characterized by their elegant simplicity, attention to detail and use of high-quality materials. Hendrickx's designs were widely distributed in Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany.

Today, Hendrickx's furniture is highly prized by collectors and retro design enthusiasts. They are often considered emblematic examples of Belgian modernist style.
