About this vintage design furniture

Beautiful solid oak sideboard by Jacques Adnet made in the 1940s. This piece is a superb example of Jacques Adnet's refined, detailed craftsmanship. This enfilade features three doors on the front, with blood-red Chinese lacquer details and brass handles and keys. Inside, behind each door, a solid oak shelf provides ample storage space. The two massive legs are typical of Adnet's transition to modernism from the mid-1940s. The combination of oak, red Chinese lacquer and brass details is simply superb. This piece has been fully restored and is in exceptional condition. Reference : 308432
