About this vintage design furniture
Very beautiful Art Deco chest of drawers in burr wood and walnut attributed to Maurice Dufrène dating from the 1940s. This chest of drawers is very decorative, and typical of the end of the Art Deco period. The gilded feet were one of Maurice Dufrène's signatures for La Maîtrise, and enhance the piece. It could be diverted in an entrance or a living room to give a chic Art Deco touch. It has been entirely restored and re-varnished, and is in a superb state of preservation, the color of the burr amboyna is magnificent.
