About this vintage design furniture
Louis Van Teeffelen totally refurbished and newly seated stylish lounge style arm chairs. Both has been sympathetically restored but still wears some of the marking of the restoration -- not to appear overdone or distracting from the scandinavian influenced style. In vintage condition, the seats made of plywood has bowed a bit over time but ready to be used and loved again. Solid birch wood legs with black lacquered tubular support for this very organic pieces of dutch design history. The seat has been recovered with vintage fabric from the mercedes benz car company.

About the designer
Louis VAN TEEFFELEN
Wim Rietveld Van Teeffelen, better known as Louis van Teeffelen, was a Dutch designer who was born in 1921 and died in 1972. He studied at the Rotterdam Academy of Fine Arts and began his career as a furniture designer in the 1950s.
