Van Teeffelen was known for his modern, functional designs, which were often made from natural materials such as wood. He worked for many Dutch furniture companies, including Wébé, Auping and Topform.
His best-known designs are the "Rosewood" chair series for Wébé, the "Model 66" dining chair for Auping, and the "Symphony" lounge furniture series for Topform. Van Teeffelen also designed furniture for international fairs and exhibitions.
Although Van Teeffelen died relatively young, his legacy as a renowned Dutch furniture designer continues to be recognized. His creations are still popular with collectors and interior design enthusiasts.
