About this vintage design furniture
Set of armchairs in red imitation leather designed by Louis van Teeffelen for Webe, 1960s. This set consists of a men’s and a lady’s armchair, both frames are made of one piece of bent plywood. The condition is still very good. The frame has been checked and the connections have been glued again where necessary. The upholstery has been renewed a few years ago with red imitation leather. Dimensions of the men’s armchair: h x w x d = 106 x 64 x 76 cm, seat height = 45 cm and the dimensions of the ladies armchair are: h x w x d = 81 x 65 x 78, seat height = 39 cm. Material: oak wood and skai upholstery. Color: wood color and red. Source: website Louisvanteeffelen.nl. The price is for the set.

About the designer
Louis VAN TEEFFELEN
Wim Rietveld Van Teeffelen, better known as Louis van Teeffelen, was a Dutch designer who was born in 1921 and died in 1972. He studied at the Rotterdam Academy of Fine Arts and began his career as a furniture designer in the 1950s.
