About this vintage design furniture
This set of four period dining room chairs was designed by Oswald Haerdtl in the 1950s, the famous Austrian designer - together with Mr. Josef Hoffmann he designed the café terrace at the Werkbund exhibition in Vienna in 1930, where they designed every little detail, from the interior to the cutlery. The chairs are very light in shape and comfortable to use. The chairs have been completely restored and covered with a natural oil that protects the wood and gives it a natural and warm finishing touch. This set has been upholstered in a high quality Kvadrat fabric, a beautiful black wool blend that has been one of Kvadrat's best-sellers since the 1960s. Produced without interruption until today.
