Designed by renowned Czech designer and producer, Petr Vichr and made by Vichr & Co. a renowned Czech furniture manufacturer. It has been restored and reupholstered by our professional refurbishing team in Czechia according to the original process. The chrome parts have been cleaned and professionally restored. The new upholstery is high quality leather, it’s very easy to clean and retains its colours very well even in direct sunlight. Sold individually This item features classic Bauhaus design elements. Elements of this style are neutral colours, and occasional bright primary colours. Bauhaus designers avoided the fussy and pretentious, looking for clean, modern lines instead. Perfect for a timeless, yet modern look. More about the manufacturer: Founded in Brno by Kondrád Vichr in 1908. Vichr & Co immediately took off and in the 1930s already had two sales floors, several employees and the range expanded to include domestic needs of all kinds. In 1948, the store was nationalized and then incorporated into the Household Needs. After 1989, all property was returned to the Vichr family. It renovated and reopened the store in 1992.

Rudolf VICHR
Rudolf Vichr (1912-2001) foi um designer industrial checo conhecido pelos seus designs de mobiliário funcionais e elegantes. Nascido em Praga, estudou na Academia de Artes, Arquitetura e Design de Praga, onde foi influenciado pelo movimento Bauhaus e pelos designs modernistas.
