Georg LEOWALD

After graduating, Leowald worked for several German companies, including Braun and Siemens, where he designed products such as radios, televisions, typewriters and medical equipment.

Over the years, he developed a minimalist, functional and ergonomic design approach that was very much in tune with the aesthetics of the modern movement. His designs were characterized by clean lines, simple geometric shapes and sober colors.

Over the course of his career, Georg Leowald received several awards for his work, including the prestigious iF Product Design Award in 1965 and 1975. Today, his creations are exhibited in design museums around the world, including MoMA in New York and the Museum of Applied Arts in Munich.
