Neil MORRIS

In 1966, Morris joined Morris of Glasgow, a company founded by his father in the 1900s, which was known for its modernist, functional furniture. Morris soon began to contribute to the development of the company's product range, creating innovative designs that won numerous awards and were exhibited in prestigious museums.

His design style was influenced by the modernist movements of the 1950s and 1960s, and he was known for his judicious use of high-quality materials such as wood, leather and fabric. His designs were also renowned for their ingenuity and functionality, often incorporating clever solutions to maximize storage space or improve ergonomics.

Over the years, Morris became an important figure in the British design industry, participating in renowned exhibitions and events and being recognized with numerous awards for his outstanding work. He continued to work for Morris of Glasgow until his retirement in 1996, leaving behind a lasting legacy of creativity, innovation and excellence in furniture design.
