About this vintage design furniture
The Strässle King armchair is one of the most known design pieces of the Belgian designer Andre Vandenbeuck in the 60s. Designed for the Swiss manufacturer Strässle this chair became an icon. This chair comes in very rare red leather color with good patina. The leather shows no rips or holes. The wood of the armrests and the base is in good condition.

André Vandenbeuck was a Belgian designer born on February 6, 1922 in Ixelles and died on February 4, 2014 in De Haan. He is best known for his work as an automotive designer for the French Facel Vega brand in the 1950s and 1960s.
