About this vintage design furniture
Designed by Aloys Ferdinand Gangkofner. In 1952 manufactured by Peill & Putzler in Germany. White opal glass with a beautiful pattern. The cable and ceiling canopy are slightly yellowed due to age. Bulb not included. The total height including the cable is 70 cm. The lamp shade itself is 40 cm.

About the designer
Alois Ferdinand GANGKOFNER
Alois Ferdinand Gangkofner (1920-2003) was a German designer and master glassmaker. Born in Bavaria, Gangkofner studied at the Zwiesel glass school and then worked as an assistant in several glass studios in Germany. In 1949, he became artistic director of the glass company Peill & Putzler in Düren, where he created many modern and innovative glass pieces.
