Table description Tulip" oval marble table designed by Eero Saarinen for Knoll International 1958. Original varnish removed because yellowed, now protected by a product that gives depth to the white and its vain grays. Designer - Eero Saarinen. Producer - Knoll International. Model - Tulipe. Production period - 1970s. Dimensions - Width 195 cm x Depth 121 cm x Height 72 cm. Materials - Marble, metal. Color - White. Slight wear from age and use (see photos). Jens RISOM

1916 - 2016

Jens Risom (1916-2016) was a Danish-born designer who made a name for himself in the United States. After studying cabinetmaking in Copenhagen, he worked for the famous Danish designer Kaare Klint before moving to the USA in 1939.
