About this vintage design furniture
A stunning piece of vintage and mid-century furniture in a display cabinet by Morris of Glasgow, the cabinet consists of a large storage section with two glass sliding doors and with two shelves inside, each shelf is fully adjustable and can be moved to your desired height. The display cabinet is of a super high quality of craftsmanship with each of the shelves in a wonderful satinwood with string detailing to each of the fronts, beautiful dovetail jointing is visible to each of the cabinets corners and with a fabulous variety of woods used in the construction of satin woods, walnuts and ebony and Australian walnut encasing the outside of the cabinet. The bookcase has been hand crafted by Morris of Glasgow and has the makers mark within the cabinet, the bookcase comes from there Cumbrae range of furniture named after the islands in the Firth of Clyde released in the 1950's and designed by Neil Morris the son of the founder of Morris furniture. The shelving unit is a fabulous piece of vintage and mid-century furniture with a fabulous look and design that would suit any home or environment.

Condition The cabinet is in superb condition and has been fully restored, hand sanded back to the original wood then French polished and waxed to help preserve the beautiful rich colour of the cabinet.
