About this vintage design furniture
4-drawer chest by Jos De Mey, Luxus edition circa 1957. Black lacquered metal base, walnut veneered chipboard top and pedestal, wooden drawers, brass handles.
In very good vintage condition, box and drawer fronts reprocessed, some traces of use and age, stains, small dents, scratches and minor wear are still visible. Very good overall appearance.
Dimensions: Width: 86cm, depth: 43cm, height: 64cm.

About the designer
Jos DE MEY
Jos De Mey was a Belgian designer born in Ghent on January 29, 1928 and died in Bruges on January 2, 2007. He studied architecture and design at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Ghent, where he also taught for several years.
