Vintage plated crystal candlestick for Peill and Putzler, Germany 1970

Plated candlestick from Germany, silver-plated from the 1970s. produced by Peill and Putzler. Boho glass (Czech), made by the Rudolfova Hut glassworks (later part of Sklo Union), designed by Rudolf Jurnik. The heavy (750 gr) square block of solid glass has circular bowl-shaped recesses on each side that create beautiful lighting effects. The modernist candlestick with an interesting form is in very good condition, with only minor traces of use and the passage of time in the form of small scratches and local patina. The base of the candlestick is made of pressed crystal glass. It has no mechanical damage or defects. A beautiful, timeless item. The photos don't convey its charm. Discolorations in photos result from poor lighting of the object and are much less visible in reality.
