About this vintage design furniture
The iconic Barcelona lamp from the 1970s designed by Bent Karlby. The lamp was originally manufactured by the Danish company Lyfa. The form of the lamp was designed based on the principle of a reflective system that directs the light not only downwards, but also sideways, illuminating the lamp itself. Thanks to its design, the lamp provides diffused and non-glare light with warm tones. The Barcelona lamp is timeless and fits into any interior.

The lamp is in very good condition.
The lamp has been thoroughly cleaned and the cable has been replaced with a new, braided one. The lamp comes with a new metal canopy.

About the designer
Bent KARLBY
Bent Karlby (1912-1998) was a Danish designer renowned for his contributions to the lighting industry. He studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen, where he developed his minimalist, functional style.
