About this vintage design furniture
A beautiful armchair from the Modus series, designed by Kristian Vedel in the 1960s. Made of solid teak. Cushions made of natural, delicate leather, filled with goose feathers, which makes the armchair exceptionally comfortable. A wonderful example of mid-century Danish design.

About the designer
Kristian Solmer VEDEL
Kristian Solmer Vedel (1923-2003) was a Danish designer, best known for his work in the 1950s and 1960s. He was born in Copenhagen, Denmark, and studied sculpture at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts.
