About this vintage design furniture
White Brumbry table lamp designed by Luigi Massoni for of Italian manufacturer Harvey Guzzini in 1969. This is a rare white version from the 1970s. A mushroom lamp with a beautiful yet timeless design, made of acrylic glass, aluminium and chromed metal. There are four (E14) fittings in the lamp; one in the middle under the shade and three under the shade along the edge (see photos). The lamp has an (original) two-position switch, with which the top lamp can be switched, the three lower lamps can be switched and/or the four lamps can be switched simultaneously. The condition is still very good; no cracks or melting spots in the shade and the wiring has been checked by an electrician. Dimensions: h x w x d = 43 x 45 x 45 cm. Marked: Harveiluce, iGuzzini, made in Italy.

About the designer
Luigi MASSONI
Luigi Massoni was an Italian designer born in Milan in 1930 and died in 1991. After studying architecture at the Milan Polytechnic, he began his career as an industrial designer in the 1950s. He worked for many prestigious Italian brands, including Guzzini, Alessi, Poltrona Frau and Boffi.
