About this vintage design furniture

Gispen 5600 storage unit with built-in desk designed by Andre Cordemeyer for Gispen in 1959. The desk even features an original integrated lamp. A very modern, industrial piece of furniture for its time, which can be used as a storage unit, bookcase, desk and/or display unit. The first version, called model 663, was designed by Wim Rietveld in 1954. Andre Cordemeyer upgraded the 663 to the 5600 system in 1959. The condition of this piece of furniture is still good with normal signs of use and wear. It has been fully checked and cleaned. The cabinet includes a folding desk with original built-in lamp and drawer, a display cabinet with glass shelf, a storage cabinet with two sliding doors, a storage cabinet with flap, two large drawers, two small drawers, several shelves (for books). The cabinet can be disassembled and easily rearranged as you wish. Colors: white, blue-red, black, anthracite grey and light grey. Dimensions: h x w x d = 137 x 220 x 36 cm. Material: metal.
