Iconic teak wood coffee table designed by Carlo Hauner and manufactured by Format Italia 60s. The table is divided into 4 cubes, each with a lid, making it very practical to use. Carlo Hauner (Brescia 1927-1997) is best known for his designs for Forma, a Brazilian furniture company that brought many iconic models to life. Carlo Hauner founded Forma in Brazil after moving to Buenos Aires in 1938, and designed simultaneously, often in collaboration with Martin Eisler. In 1958, Carlo Hauner returned to Italy, where he established the company's Italian branch. He worked for many highly respected customers and produced many iconic models. Carlo Hauner

1927 - 1996

Carlo Hauner was an Italian designer born in 1927 in Vienna, Austria, and died in 1997 in Pantelleria, Italy. After studying architecture at the University of Rome, Hauner began his career as a jewelry designer. In the 1950s, he worked with the Bulgari fashion house in Rome.
