About this vintage design furniture
A Classic late 1950s sideboard designed by John and Sylvia Reid, from the ‘S Range’ produced in England by Stag Furniture. Made in teak with polished steel handles and hairpin legs in very good condition.
These cabinets were only produced, 1960-1963, so they are very rare.

About the designer
John REID
John and Sylvia Reid were a British design couple known for their contribution to modern design in the UK in the 1950s and 1960s. John Reid was born in 1918 in Newcastle upon Tyne and studied sculpture at the city's School of Fine Arts. Sylvia Reid, born in Glasgow in 1917, studied painting at the Glasgow School of Art.
