About this vintage design furniture

Vilhelm Wohlert designed the Wohlert lamp in 1959. Louis Poulsen asked him to design lamps for different room sizes. Initially, Wohlert was called Satelit on the Danish market, but the international name was changed to Wohlert, after the designer. Wohlert is suitable for lighting any room. The frosted glass surface provides uniform, diffused light. The hole in the lower part of the fixture provides direct downward light.The lamps are still in production today.Dimensions:diameter: 30 cmheight 32 cmThe lamp is in excellent condition.The lamp has been carefully cleaned, the cable has been replaced by a new braided cable. Vilhelm Wohlert was a Danish designer born in Copenhagen on May 10, 1920 and died on May 10, 2007. Best known for his work in architecture and interior design, he was a key member of the Danish modernist movement.
