About this vintage design furniture
Set of 2 Estelle and Erwin Laverne 1957 "Champagne" dining chairs for Formes Nouvelles Laverne International USA. Made of green molded Plexiglas on a polished aluminum base, with a white leather cushion, the chair swivels comfortably. Inspired by Saarinen's "Tulip" chair, Champagne is part of Laverne's "Invisible Group". The slender pedestal base and transparent shell give the design visual lightness and timeless sophistication.
