About this vintage design furniture

Cómoda de la colección Cantata diseñada por John and Sylvia Reid para la firma inglesa Stag Furniture Ltd. Diseño en madera laminada de teca con cuatro cajones con tiradores torneados macizos de teca. Cuenta con cuatro cajones. Se encuentra en muy buen estado de conservación tras haber sido restaurado y terminado con dos capas de aceite-cera Osmo. Presenta leves marcas en el tablero acordes a su antigüedad. About the designer

John REID

John and Sylvia Reid were a British design couple known for their contribution to modern design in the UK in the 1950s and 1960s. John Reid was born in 1918 in Newcastle upon Tyne and studied sculpture at the city's School of Fine Arts. Sylvia Reid, born in Glasgow in 1917, studied painting at the Glasgow School of Art.
