About this vintage design furniture

Very nice set of three cabinets that can form a large enfilade designed by Guido Faleschini and published by I4 Mariani in Italy for the Hermes boutiques in the 1970s. This set features two cabinets with off-white lacquered doors with Hermes tan leather handles, covered in grey suede on the sides and inside, the top shelf and shelves inside in black opaline glass. It also features a smaller six-drawer cabinet with brushed steel handles, covered in gray suede on the sides and inside, and a black opal glass top. These pieces were on display and available to order in select Hermès outlets in the 1970s. The ensemble is imposing and glamorous, with taut lines in brushed steel. The combination of off-white lacquer, grey suede, brushed steel and tan leather is sublime. This set has been entirely restored, reupholstered, and is in exceptional condition. Reference : 279658
