About this vintage design furniture
Pepper Young table by Philippe Starck for the Spanish company Disform. He designed this table in 1978, the particular name of this model is directly borrowed from a character of the novel of anticipation of Philip K. Dick "Ubik". This work was very important in the life of the designer fascinated by the vision of modernity that emerges from it, the work inspired him not only in the way of naming his works but also in their structures. He later named his design studio Ubik. There is a second version of this table with a round top or with grey legs. Its structure consists of 4 black metal legs ending in a sphere in molded polyurethane on which rests a square glass top. In good condition, contains age and use.
