About this vintage design furniture
A three-seater sofa in teak by Danish designer Grete Jalk for France and Daverkosen.
This early 1950s version has a beautiful streamlined design, with sculpted arms, tapering legs and a modernist sensibility.
It has been carefully reconditioned. The teak is rich and warm, with a striking grain. It is structurally perfect.
The cream velvet upholstery is very clean and presentable. It has been professionally cleaned.
It bears the France and Daverkosen plaque to the base.
