About this vintage design furniture

A three-seater sofa in teak by Danish designer Grete Jalk for France and Daverkosen. This early 1950s version has a beautiful streamlined design, with sculpted arms, tapering legs and a modernist sensibility. It has been carefully reconditioned. The teak is rich and warm, with a striking grain. It is structurally perfect. The cream velvet upholstery is very clean and presentable. It has been professionally cleaned. It bears the France and Daverkosen plaque to the base. Reference : 268954
