About this vintage design furniture

The armchair type 366, or the iconic "Chierek", is a design by Józef Chierowski and one of the icons of Polish modernist design in the mid-twentieth century. Armchairs of this type were produced mainly in the factory in Swiebodzice for over 20 years, starting from 1962. The piece of furniture, although simple in construction, is shapely, light and still modern. Upholstered armchair type 366 is the most recognizable example of domestic design known in Poland and abroad. It functioned in small Polish apartments, public places and foreign diplomatic posts. The set has been professionally restored - the wood has been restored, the tension belts have been changed, new upholstery foams used, reapholstered with natural linen fabric in warm beige color. We can prepare these armchairs in different fabric and wood color according to your needs. Reference : 264324
