Murano glass "Lenti" bowl/centerpiece designed by Ercole Barovier for Barovier and Toso, Italy, 1940s/50s. Made of thick amber/honey colored glass with clear overlay. Fantastic semispherical bubble design. Crafted of fine quality Italian art glass. The vibrant color and high quality craftsmanship make this item highly decorative. Height: 10.5 cm; diameter: 18 cm; Weight: 1,5 kg. Excellent original condition.

Barovier is the name of a famous family of Italian glassmakers who have been active in the glass industry for over seven centuries. Among the most notable members of this family is Ercole Barovier (1889-1974), a designer and master glassmaker who played an important role in the 20th-century renaissance of the Murano glass industry.
