About this vintage design furniture

George NELSON's (1908-1986) large desk in rosewood, "EOG" model (Executive Office Group) for Herman Miller USA and distributed in Europe by Mobilier International. This desk is composed of a white laminate top underlined by solid rosewood shelves, which is supported by a block of two rosewood drawers with aluminum handles. The lock is present but the key is not available.The drawers slide perfectly.The international furniture label is glued on this part.A storage niche is available between the box and the tray.The round tubular base in chromed steel has an H-shaped architecture with its sloping reinforcement bar. The feet are adjustable for optimal stability.The top has marks on corners. Visible on the pictures. Some small marks on the drawers.Very good vintage condition overall. Reference : 255493
