Beautiful large vintage coffee table by Giovanni Offredi for Saporiti Italia dating from the early 1980s. This beautiful coffee table is entirely veneered in birdseye maple wood, with brass inserts on the legs. Its symmetry and its lines all in roundness. Very nice quality workmanship, a great timeless classic of the 70's-80's Italian. This coffee table will add a touch of elegance and vintage charm to your living room, and will undoubtedly be the centerpiece. It has been fully restored, the thick varnish repolished, the brass cleaned, and is in superb condition. A very rare piece by Giovanni Offredi in this XXL size.

Giovanni Offredi was an Italian designer born in Lucca, Tuscany, in 1929 and died in Milan in 1999. He is best known for his work as an industrial designer in the 1960s and 1970s.
