About this vintage design furniture
Famous so called “Micky Mouse Chair” by Toshiyuki Kita 1980 for Cassina. Various adjustable Easy Chair. The backrest can be adjusted by a turningknob, like in a car. By folding out the footrest, the chair can be turned into a lounger. The “ears” are also foldable. New upholstered. Plastic pieces of the footrest and turningknobs are new.

About the designer
Toshiyuki KITA
Toshiyuki Kita is a Japanese designer born in 1942 in Osaka, Japan. He studied architecture at Kyoto University before joining the Italian furniture manufacturer Cassina in Milan, where he worked on industrial design projects for companies such as Sharp and Hitachi.
