About this vintage design furniture
A beautiful ceiling lamp designed by Preben Dahl and manufactured by Hans Folsgaard in Denmark around 1960. Part of the “Sympfoni” series designed by Dahl. Pieces of these series can all be recognized by there resembling structure and materials. This is the ceiling light from that series. This fantastic piece of Scandinavian modern design is made of high quality white and grey lacquered metal. The origami like shapes of the metal plates combine very nicely into an elegant shape that emits light in it’s very own unique way when lit This lamp would make a most decorative addition to the decor and adds beautifully to the atmosphere when lit. It remains in good original condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.

About the designer
Aksel DAHL
Aksel Dahl is a Danish industrial designer born in 1981. He studied at the Royal School of Architecture, Design and Conservation in Copenhagen, where he obtained a master's degree in industrial design in 2009.
