About this vintage design furniture
Height: 28.35 in. (72 cm)Width: 59.06 in. (150 cm)Depth: 34.26 in. (87 cm)This elegant boomerang-shaped desk was designed by renowned furniture designer Peter Løvig Nielsen in 1956 for Hedensted Møbelindustri in Denmark and features meticulously crafted teak wood. The desk consists of an L-shaped top over three drawers and an open bookcase. The cabinet door opens to a mirrored interior with a fixed shelf - the secret bar. Each drawer has a carved handle and exceptional dovetail joinery. The top features beautiful raised detail on the back and sides, giving it a sophisticated look. The diagonal bracing that supports the legs has beautiful brass applications. Perfectly restored in all parts with a new lack coat on the table top, the key and bright brass inserts on the legs are original. The desk shows only minor signs of wear, nothing to detract from it. The overall appearance is beautiful.
