About this vintage design furniture

1930s tubular armchair by Dutch manufacturer De Cirkel. A Bauhaus inspired cantilever lounge chair re-upholstered in a natural off white sheepskin chromed metal frame and solid bent beech wooden armrests. Great comfort, in great condition, only patina on the chrome. Furniture company De Cirkel merged with the Dutch manufacturer Ahrend in 1967. From that period onwards often referred to as Ahrend de Cirkel, but under the leadership of Mr. Koenders everything was subsumed under the name Ahrend. Seat heigt: 38cm
