About this vintage design furniture
Rare set of three Daruma floor or table lamps designed by Sergio Asti for Candle Illuminazione, Italy in 1968. These Daruma lamps also belong to the collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York. They are mouth-blown and made in six sizes. This are the largest three lamps from the early 1970s. The dimensions diameter x height (from large to small) are: 40 x 43 cm, 33.6 x 35 cm and 27.6 x 29 cm. These lamps give a very nice light effect. One of the lamps is still marked with the Candle sticker (see photo). Source: Catalogue Candle April 1973, page 170. Very good condition no pieces (chips) of the glass), cleaned and checked. The price is for the set of three.
