About this vintage design furniture
Absolute gorgeous large sideboard by Alfred Hendrickx for Belform, 1960s. The upper part is produced out of dark mahogany wood and lacquered with a varnish, with a single metal strip. The underpart is made of steel and mahogany and has a floating design. The feet are adjustable. The sideboard is one of the more modern designs by Alfred Hendrickx and doesn’t have any outer visible handles giving it a very sleek and modern look, along with the floating frame. The sideboard has 4 large cabinets and one of the cabinets has 3 large drawers. The inner cabinets are made of a light multiplex wood. In a solid condition without any substantial damage. The top has some scratches and imperfections and the lower wood bar (in between the feet) some small damages as well.

Alfred Hendrickx was a Belgian designer and cabinetmaker who was born in Antwerp in 1910 and died in 1983. He is best known for his elegant modern furniture, which enjoyed great success in the 1950s and 1960s.
