Pair of mid century Danish armchairs in teak by Svend Aage Eriksen for Glostrup, 1960s

This pair of easy chairs is designed by Svend Aage Eriksen and manufactured by Glostrup in Denmark in the 1960s. There is a label by the manufacturer. The design of the backrest and armrests is very refined. The visible black metal connectors are a typical design feature. The connections between solid wooden parts at the front of the armrests are very beautiful. The frames are in solid teak. We have reupholstered the chairs with new high quality cushions in cold foam and a beautiful high quality grey melange fabric by Kirkby Design. The supports under the seating cushions are original and good to use.
