About this vintage design furniture
A rocking chair designed by Borge Mogensen, manufactured by FDB Mobler in Denmark around 1950. This lovely rocking chair is made of high quality warm brown wood in elegant, modern shapes. It is made with a nice eye for detail in typical Scandinavian design The spokes to the backrest and armrests as well as the rounded frame all add nicely to it’s appeal. The cushion provides addition comfort and has a nice flower pattern. The chair has a nice, smooth rocking mechanism. All together this is a wonderful piece of vintage design It remains in good, vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
