About this vintage design furniture
The bookcase has been restored and refinished. It is made of oak, chrome steel and glass. It was manufactured in the 1930s in the Czech Republic by Vichr a spol. The bookcase has metal legs that are curved and square at the base. It also features two cabinet doors at the bottom with a checkerboard pattern. Glass doors for displaying your favorite books

About the designer
Rudolf VICHR
Rudolf Vichr (1912-2001) was a Czech industrial designer known for his functional and elegant furniture creations. Born in Prague, he studied at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague, where he was influenced by the Bauhaus movement and modernist designs.
