About this vintage design furniture
The type 300-139 armchair commonly known as stefan was designed and manufactured in the second half of the 1960s in the swarzędz furniture factory as a piece of ceremonial furniture of the then communist authorities. It was mainly intended for export. The style is very similar to Scandinavian armchairs, which probably contributed to its great success. Nowadays, this chair is a rarity, and the prices of well-preserved copies are rising rapidly. The chair has been completely renovated. The wood has been carefully sanded and coated with an ecological teak stain, with a satin finish. The cushions were reassembled from foam with increased kneading resistance. The fabric used is very resistant to dirt, and once it is, it can be removed and washed with zippers.
