Vintage Drylund 3 Seater Sofa 1960s
About this vintage design furniture
A recently fully restored vintage mid-century 1960’s three-seat sofa from Drylund of Denmark a solid teak sofa with fitted cushions upholstered in a Camira - Westminster blue wool, a flame retardant fabric from sustainable sources, a true symbol of purity, having been used in textiles for thousands of years thanks to its strong, long and smooth fibres found inside the stem of the plant. The fibre is spun into a wool flax blend, then dyed to create beautiful mixture yarn which is woven into interesting solids and cross-colours inspired by the rich tones of rare jewels. The sofa has a warm, rich, solid Teak all-around feel with unique carved lags and wide shaped armrests. A distinguished slatted back concludes its rear appearance, stylistically very much like Grete Jalk, a truly inimitable and desirable peace for sale.
