About this vintage design furniture
Beautiful set of 8 dining chairs in the upholstery of two original red fabrics. The chair model were designed by Oswald Haerdtl for TON (Thonet) in 1950s, produced in Czechoslovakia. Typical midcentury design. Backrest in bended plywood, lacquered legs in blond color of oak wood. Backrest and seat upholstered in an original red fabric in a good condition. These 8 chairs are consisting of two sets of 4 chairs, each is in red fabric, but they are slightly different. Yet, they work well together. Some wear visible on the fabric, a bit of aging and tear due to use on the edges of the backrest on some of these. Strong and stable chair with comfortable seating. Striking design with elegant details.
