About this vintage design furniture
Table lamp Guzzini Moana designed by Luigi Massoni (1930 - 2013) in 1967. The Moana series includes a floor lamp, a pendant lamp and a table lamp. The acrylic plexiglass shade with the chrome-plated cover creates a beautiful lighting effect. The condition is still good with some signs of normal wear and tear, 2 small dents in the chromed metal cover (see photo), scratches and patina. The wiring has been checked by an electrician. It is marked with the Harvey Guzzini logo sticker. The lamp contains an E27 screw bulb socket, Max 100W. Material: chrome-plated metal and brushed acrylic (Plexiglas). Dimensions: h x d 55 x 45 cm.

About the designer
Luigi MASSONI
Luigi Massoni was an Italian designer born in Milan in 1930 and died in 1991. After studying architecture at the Milan Polytechnic, he began his career as an industrial designer in the 1950s. He worked for many prestigious Italian brands, including Guzzini, Alessi, Poltrona Frau and Boffi.
